The Armed Forces Qualification Test (AFQT) score determines your eligibility to enlist in any branch of the military. It's calculated from four ASVAB subtests: Arithmetic Reasoning (AR), Mathematics Knowledge (MK), Paragraph Comprehension (PC), and Word Knowledge (WK). Scores range from 1-99.
Line scores are composite scores calculated from different combinations of ASVAB subtests. Each military branch uses different line scores to determine eligibility for specific jobs (MOS/Rate/AFSC). Higher line scores open more career opportunities.
